RIP, Eartha Kitty

Eartha used up the last of her nine lives, we guess, two years ago -- when Scott nursed her back to happy kitty health after she had acute renal failure. She had another two really good years of running around the house, playing with her cat toys, drinking out of the sink or any glass of water you had anywhere, and sparring with Deedee from time to time.

As we knew would happen at some point, her kidneys failed again, but this time there was no fixing it. She went downhill very fast and today we had to euthanize her.

Goodbye, Eartha Kitty -- you were a good cat (as cats go) and we'll miss you. We promise to run the bathroom sink in your memory every now and then.
