a post for the new year

I just had to get one in so I didn't entirely miss January 2010. :-) I don't have anything to say, though, so I'll just wave hi for now.

However, for the sake of not entirely wasting your time, I'll include this magnificent self-portrait of my friend Kara and I when we went to see Avatar. What a shiny forehead I have.
