happy swiss xmas!

Looky the great tree Scott got us! And he decorated it too. He's so good, isn't he? :-) I wrapped the gifts under the tree - they are mostly for our friends we're going to visit, including Lara, Adriana, Lane and Jasper. We'll be in Geneva for Christmas, for a few days. Then we'll come back up here for a few days as well. Should be fun!

Alas, poor Gibby.

Yes, he still has four legs, but he hurt one of them, and it's all bent up and wrapped tightly to his body. Thanks to the emergency vet on a Sunday morning. This dog, he never hurts himself during normal business hours. He's not operating well on three legs yet...15 days to go.

Plus, we had him in the kennel for a few days last week while we were out of town, and he got a nasty case of kennel cough (a cold for dogs - and for which we made yet another vet trip to innoculate him against before we left - what good did it do??).

Have you ever heard a dog with a bad cough? Sounds like a goose caught in a bear trap.

Good times.
