Coldplay

Here is the Golden Ticket! Our friend bought these Coldplay concert tickets and then couldn't use them, and wouldn't accept any money for them. We got four tickets worth CHF 165.00 a pop! Scott and I went with our friends Kara and Liouba.


We also got the requisite armbands, for exit and re-entry into the Golden Circle, which was the standing section closest to the stage:

We eschewed the motorway/parking nightmare and took the train to the venue just outside Bern. The trains were all extremely organized, per usual local customs, including color-coded paths to follow on the way out, to get to the "Extrazuege (Coldplay)" -- extra trains scheduled for the concert. On the way out, depending which path you were on, you got a custom little leaflet with the train schedule for your final destination:

It all ran like clockwork.

The concert was awesome, and "Fix You" and "Viva la Vida" and "Cemeteries of London" were my personal favorites. They also did this really cool cover of "Billie Jean." Great concert, and a quite vigorous and loud thunderstorm during the last half-hour added great ambiance and didn't slow anything down. Thanks, Jaci, for the tickets!!
